About the Role:

This role is responsible for managing and building strong relationships with a portfolio of Specialist Industries customers, driving portfolio growth through customer acquisition, cross-selling and referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of customer business and financial needs.
  • Provide customers with suitable solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Partners and other internal stakeholders to design, structure and execute deals.
  • Build and maintain strong external networks with a focus on COI and origination.
  • Structure deals in conjunction with relevant product and specialist teams.
  • Manage a portfolio of Specialist customers.
  • Coach and grow an Assistant Manager direct report.

  • Relationship Management: Building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Business Development: Partnering with individuals and/or organisations to pursue strategic initiatives, relationships and/or opportunities to drive commercial value.
  • Portfolio Management: Selecting, prioritising and managing a portfolio of work and/or customers in line with its strategic objectives and capacity to deliver.
  • Customer Solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and/or providing considered options that meet those needs.
  • Coaching: Helping people move from where they are to where they want to be through the use of effective coaching techniques and strategies.
  • Ability to drive credit approval activities with expert capability in credit assessment and management.
