Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Case Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care to children and young people in foster care.

You will work closely with foster carers, families, and professionals to ensure each child receives specialised care and achieves their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster Care Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to children and young people in foster care, helping them navigate complex emotions and experiences.
  • Caregiver Matches: Coordinate matches between foster carers and children to ensure best-practice care and meet individual needs.
  • Professional Network: Collaborate with a network of professionals, including social workers, psychologists, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Welfare, Social Work, Child Development or a related field.
  • A current Victorian drivers licence.
  • A CPR and First Aid certificate.
  • Demonstrated ability to protect children and young people from abuse and neglect.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the out-of-home care system and available resources in Gippsland.
  • Effective communication skills.
