Caring Case Manager

This role focuses on delivering high-quality care to support children and young people in foster care. Our program is designed to help them heal from trauma and thrive.
We are committed to a collaborative, inclusive approach where our carers play a crucial role in the care team.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with adults, adolescents, children and sector representatives.
This is an ongoing Part Time (4 days a week) position with benefits and access to salary packaging and staff discounts.
Responsibilities
- Support children and young people in foster care
- Facilitate transitions and coordinate caregiver matches
- Ensure best-practice care and provide safe environments for children and young people
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Post-secondary qualifications in Welfare, Social Work, Child Development or relevant qualification
- Current Victorian drivers licence
- Current CPR and First Aid certificate
- Demonstrated ability to protect children and young people from abuse and neglect
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding the out-of-home care system
