About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Brightcove. This is a quota-carrying role focused on driving revenue growth in the ANZ region, specifically targeting SMB customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute a territory plan to drive revenue generation.
  2. Build a metrics-driven sales pipeline of new accounts.
  3. Manage the sales process from initial contact to negotiating and closing contracts.
  4. Gain in-depth knowledge of the SMB space and develop expertise in the ANZ region.
  5. Closure of deals.
  6. Collaborate with sales leadership and marketing teams to develop a go-to-market strategy.
Qualifications/Experience
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience in a SaaS environment, preferably in Martech, advertising, and media technology, with a focus on SMB clientele.
  • A proven track record of delivering on or exceeding revenue goals and quotas.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close complex deals.
  • Excellent communication skills to tailor communication to customer needs.
  • Ability to assess client needs and provide solutions through new products and services.
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with excellent networking and teamwork skills.
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with experience in Salesforce CRM highly preferred.
Special Conditions
  • English fluency is required.
  • This is a quota-carrying role.
  • Travel may be required to meet prospects, partners, and customers.
  • Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia, with no relocation possible.
