Job Title: Sales Professional

We are seeking a skilled Sales Professional to join our team at Cummins. As a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for growing top-line sales and market share in the Power Generation business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new opportunities to grow the Power Generation business.
  • Develop and execute account plans to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals.
  • Work closely with Consultants, Electrical Contractors, and End Users to understand customer needs and priorities.
  • Conduct negotiations according to company guidelines.
  • Manage sales opportunity pipelines to proactively plan for successful execution of sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Strong Electrical or Mechanical background with a strong understanding of engines and/or electrical systems.
  • 5 years previous sales experience in a similar role.
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to negotiate and develop new business.
  • Experience with account management is essential.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
  • Uncapped Sales Commission.
  • Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program.
  • Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms provided.
  • Company phone and laptop provided.
