
Leading Counsellor Role for Children and Adults

At Family Life, we are seeking a qualified and experienced psychologist to join our team as a Clinician working in the Heartlinks service. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality counselling services to children and adults in the Bayside/Peninsula region.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver evidence-based psychological therapeutic interventions to children, young people and adults.
- Provide counselling support to children, young people or adults with varied complexity and presentation.
- Travel between our offices in Sandringham and Frankston as required.
- Participate in clinical decisions about treatment planning, assessment and risk management.
- Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive records in accordance with our policy.
- Work collaboratively with the Team Leader and team to identify opportunities to improve the program and promote positive outcomes for clients.
- Registered with the appropriate professional body (AHPRA or AASW).
- Eligible to register with the Better Access Scheme.
- Strong engagement and rapport-building skills, particularly with children aged 5 and over.
- Highly desirable: trained and experienced in administering assessments such as WISC-V and ADOS-2.
