About the RoleIn this unique Pharmacy Adviser role, you will:
- Provide internal escalation for pharmaceutical clinical advice.
- Assess and process medicinal cannabis funding submissions and RPBS written authority funding applications.
- Advise DVA on appropriate clinical treatment within the DVA health entitlements legislation.
- Provide specialised clinical, business, and policy advice.
- Support program and provider audit/reviews under an agreed assurance procedural framework.
- Respond to health evidence queries from business areas within DVA.
- Liaise with external providers in relation to requests for services under an agreed procedural framework.
We're looking for Pharmacists keen to move into a role without direct patient contact within a multidisciplinary team working from the DVA Brisbane CBD office in a casual capacity.
You must be an Australian citizen and able to attain and maintain a baseline security clearance from the Defence security and vetting service.
We're seeking someone with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Commitment to a minimum of 2 shifts per week.
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist.
- At least 5 years current clinical experience.
- Strong critical analysis skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and judgement in dealing with client-related issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a productive team member.
