About the Role

Auswide Bank is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Banking Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing seamless service to our existing and new customers through various channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide personalized solutions to meet their financial needs.
  • Product Promotion: Promote Auswide Bank's suite of products, including home and personal loans, term deposits, insurance, international transfers, and credit cards.
  • Financial Needs Assessment: Assess customers' financial situations, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance their financial well-being.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Auswide Bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, as well as maintain a high level of risk awareness and management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives, participate in problem-solving initiatives, and drive innovation to enhance the organization's capabilities.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. You should have:

  • Proven Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Financial Knowledge: A solid understanding of financial products and services, including loans, deposits, and insurance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using financial software and systems, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Passion for Helping Others: A genuine desire to help customers achieve their financial goals and improve their financial well-being.
  • Continuous Learning: A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
