Job Description

Mercure Newcastle is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team, responsible for driving revenue and expanding our client base.

About the Role:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach to potential partners and clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective sales strategies, campaigns, and promotions.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor analysis.
  • Pitch Mercure's unique offerings to potential clients through persuasive presentations and negotiations.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of Mercure's facilities, services, and packages to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
  • Represent Mercure at industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to enhance brand visibility and build relationships.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of client agreements.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-years experience in business development, hospitality, or hotels.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a deep understanding of client relationship processes.
