Senior Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our projects and services engagements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various projects and services focused on automation, control systems, and solutions in the Infrastructure, Water, and Manufacturing industries.

The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills to drive project execution and support engineering teams in design, development, commissioning, and ongoing support of automation systems. They will also have strategic planning and management of project execution alongside engineering leads for multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution and Management: Lead and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to engineering teams, driving collaboration and productivity.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement project plans, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Commercial Management: Manage project budgets, costs, and revenue streams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field.
  • PMBOK/PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in end-to-end engineering project deliveries and service environments.
  • Mature business acumen and commercial experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel (interstate and internationally at times).
