Job Summary

This is a skilled maintenance assistant position that involves ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of warehouse facilities.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Clean warehouse floors, offices, break room, and restrooms by operating floor scrubbing machinery and sweeping, mopping, spraying, and wiping.
  • Restock supplies and empty garbage from designated areas throughout the warehouse.
  • Operate garbage compactor and cardboard baler.
  • Review daily schedule for assigned routine tasks and maintenance repair jobs.
  • FOLLOW safety and security procedures, including tagging and locking off power access when working on electrical equipment.
  • Paint walls, replace light bulbs, maintain equipment, and perform routine repairs throughout the warehouse.
  • Assist in building displays and fixtures.
  • Maintain grounds outside the warehouse including blowing leaves, picking up litter, roof checks, and building maintenance.
  • Order supplies and parts needed for projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with front end duties as necessary.
  • Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also have basic math skills and be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) frequently throughout the day.
