We're looking for a hands-on, organised Warehouse & Maintenance Coordinator to support the delivery of our bespoke projects. Based in our Mascot head office, you'll manage stock, assist with logistics, oversee maintenance, and help prepare installations for dispatch.
You'll need a practical mindset, great attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks—especially during our peak season (Oct-Jan). Experience in warehousing, events, or production environments is ideal.
**Major Accountabilities**
**Receiving - Botany Warehouse**(may include inventory items, workshop materials or miscellaneous items)
- Assist with unloading of Containers and trucks, including the use of forklifts. Direct casual and seasonal staff as required.
- Check and validate quality and quantity of received items.
- Match supplier packing list quantities against initial PO. Confirm acceptance by signing PO or Supplier Packing list
- 'Put Away' delivered items into allocated pallet racks or storage locations. Direct casual and seasonal staff in Put Away tasks.
**Dispatch - Botany and In Season Temporary Warehouse**
- Picking, Packing and Consolidate orders,
- Internal - Components for use in production activities (via internal systems CQS).
- External - Sales Orders.
- External - Finished Goods for Client Sites, handed over by production.
- Double check addresses for outgoing orders are correct in CQS.
- Assist in managing casual and seasonal staff in dispatch activities.
**Maintenance of Premises**
- Including Botany Rd, Storage Warehouses and Temporary Warehouses (if applicable)
- Through routine maintenance, including Bins, fire inspections, pest inspections, windows, and gutter cleaning maintain well presented, clean and organised premises.
- Maintain tidy and clean premises, yards and handstand areas that are free of debris, broken equipment and hazards.
- Based on business needs, retain an appropriate stock of Pallets. Promptly dispose of any broken pallets.
**Other Activities**
- Assist in stock control and count activities, including Annual Stock take
- Daily warehouse tasks such as repackaging, counting, cleaning of stock products and deliveries.
- Ensure sufficient stock of warehouse consumables i.e., pallet wrap, tape bubble wrap PPE is maintained.
- Willing to work longer hours and be flexible during Chas Clarkson's 'Seasonal' period, which is from October to February annually.
- Ensure a safe work Environment, through compliance with Safety Regulations.
**Experience & Qualifications**
- Sound knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
- Supervisory and management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High Reach Forklift Driver (with Experience)
- Driver's License (6 Tonne Truck would be a bonus)
Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
