The Role

This critical position involves ensuring that our business continuity plans are up-to-date, thoroughly tested, and equipped to handle any disruptions. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of business continuity plans and procedures, generate reports on risk assessments, incident responses, and performance metrics, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Assessment and Analysis: Identify potential risks and collaborate with teams to conduct thorough risk assessments.
  • Crisis Management: Participate in crisis management teams during incidents, coordinate response efforts, and maintain a state of readiness for immediate response.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and conduct regular business continuity tests, raise awareness of the importance of business continuity and disaster recovery measures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-incident reviews, analyze areas for improvement, and update business continuity plans and strategies accordingly.
  • Regulatory and Compliance: Stay current with regulatory requirements and ensure response arrangements align with obligations.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain open communication with stakeholders, provide updates on BCP efforts, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced professional with:

  • At least 3 years of experience in general claims management
  • Proven stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the development of board papers and reporting
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • A well-developed understanding of legislative, regulatory, and compliance obligations in the FSR environment
