Power System Protection and Automation Specialist

Seeking a senior electrical engineer to lead complex projects in power system protection and automation.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply expertise in electric power systems, industry practices, and related disciplines to complete high-profile assignments.
- Train and assist clients with the creation, design configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation and/or protection systems.
- Manage projects within agreed-upon scope, schedule, and quality standards to deliver exceptional results.
- Assist in the development and presentation of successful proposals for equipment, services, and systems.
- Mentor and develop professional staff, supervising as necessary.
- Model and teach company values, principles of operations, and world-class manufacturing principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electric power systems, industry practices, and related disciplines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electric power system protection and control, integration, and/or automation and communications applications.
- Proven knowledge of electric power system design, studies, information and communication technology, and protective relay applications.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on focus area.
- Strong writing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Capacity to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Satisfactory background check results and negative drug test result(s).
- Professional Engineer License or equivalent certification.
- Experience in electrical utility, industrial plant, consulting engineering, or system integrator settings.
- Project management experience.
- Familiarity with project management tracking software.
