Job Title: Automation Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our team.

This critical role is responsible for the development and implementation of automation and protection systems. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of power system focus areas, including design, studies, commissioning, and security.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Train and assist customers with the creation, design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation and/or protection systems.
  • Complete assigned work within agreed-upon scope, schedule, and quality standards to a high level of quality and safety.
  • Participate in the preparation of functional design specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed design documents, reports, checklists, test reports, and deliverables.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant application experience with electric power systems, industry practices, and focus area practices and philosophies.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate.
  • Experience in electrical utility, industrial plant, consulting engineering, or system integrator environments.
