Pool Lifeguard Position

Casual opportunity to supervise the aquatic environment, ensuring public safety at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Active supervision of pool activities in accordance with Royal Life Saving Society Australia (RLSSA) standards and organisational policies and procedures.
  • General knowledge of occupational health and safety, manual handling, hazardous substances, and dangerous goods including pool chemicals.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for pool patrons.
  • Hold a current First Aid certification, CPR qualification, Defibrillator training, and asthma certification.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Current LSV Pool Lifeguard Award.
  • Previous experience in a lifeguard role or in an aquatic and leisure environment.

Additionally, we require:

  • Austswim Award (desirable).
  • Poll Operators Certificate (desirable).
  • Evidence of Right to Work in Australia.
  • Willing support for a Christian ethos.
