Support Worker Trainee Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote client autonomy and well-being by ensuring their daily living activities are meaningful and fulfilling.
  • Work flexible shifts, including set time blocks and rostered shifts, to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Provide companionship and support to enhance clients' life choices at home and in the community.
  • Report any changes in clients' health or care plans promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date with regular communications via email and other methods.
  • Prioritize your own health and safety, as well as that of others in the workplace.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect clients' rights.
Requirements:
  • Currently studying or have completed a Certificate III in Individualised Support, Home & Community Services, Aged Care, or equivalent.
  • Hold a current full driver's license.
  • Possess a valid Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR skills.
  • Have reliable motor vehicle insurance and registration.
  • Own a smart mobile phone or device.
  • Meet NDIS Clearance requirements (or be willing to obtain one).
  • Have a recent Police Clearance (within 6 months) or be willing to obtain one.
  • Be proficient in using computers and systems.
  • Value working in a mission-based organisation that prioritises caring for others.
