Job Title: Product Specialist - Clinical & Pharmaceutical Microbiology

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Product Specialist to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As a key member of our Microbiology Business Area, you will be responsible for leading generation and sales closure within the Clinical and Pharmaceutical Microbiology markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business territory plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts for the Clinical & Pharma Microbiology business areas
  • Utilize data analysis tools to optimize sales and margin metrics for customer accounts
  • Collaborate with Product Management to ensure inventory and product forecasting targets are met
  • Conduct product demonstrations, seminars, and customer engagement activities to support growth strategy
  • Work with Technical and Service teams to resolve customer technical issues
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Science or related subject area
  • Experience in a Microbiology laboratory or commercial Microbiology setting
  • Previous experience selling Microbiology reagents and consumables is highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of the Sales process and ability to achieve results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
