Training Role

Your role in the team would encompass, but not be limited to, delivering and evaluating firearms training and operational skills training, as well as contributing to the education and development of police recruits and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver practical operational skills training, including firearms training, to police officers and other clients.
  • Apply adult education methodologies relevant to operational skills training programs and internal education policies.
  • Lead, supervise and support staff members.
  • Assess program participants and prepare reports based on these assessments.
  • Plan, facilitate and review the delivery and assessment of education and training programs.
  • Liaise with police service members and other agencies and individuals.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of course curricula by conducting research and evaluation.
  • Manage information systems to monitor and record training and assessment.
