Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and supervise staff in our Resources division based in Port Hedland WA.
The ideal candidate will effectively manage day-to-day activities, including coordinating shifts and drivers to meet customer demands for bulk diesel transportation.
The successful applicant will maintain high standards of operational efficiency while prioritizing employee safety and adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate vehicles and personnel to fulfill customer needs.
- Monitor driver performance to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly.
- Comply with strict regulatory requirements, including Cor, Fatigue Management, Mass Management, and NHVR rules.
- Participate actively in team meetings and communicate effectively with colleagues and contractors.
- Proven experience in transport or logistics management.
- In-depth knowledge of WA NHVR legislation and fatigue management practices.
- Middle-level computer skills, preferably Microsoft Office Suite proficient.
- Foster strong business relationships through regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to handle after-hours contact for driver requirements.
