About the Role

The Church Relationship Manager is a key position within World Vision Australia, responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships with Australian churches to support the organization's work.

This role requires a strong understanding of church movements in Australia and around the world, as well as experience in implementing a strategic vision and developing pipeline for fundraising key programs.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of engaging with church partners for fundraising in not-for-profit organizations, with a strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire and build a mature portfolio of church partnerships who support World Vision Australia's offerings
  • Actively engage churches and prospects to offer opportunities to achieve impact through church partnerships
  • Develop pipeline and fundraising strategies for key programs
  • Deliver presentations to congregations on the work of World Vision Australia
  • Grow World Vision Australia's presence and reputation across the state

Requirements

  • Experience working in the not-for-profit or church sector
  • Experience in implementing a strategic vision and developing pipeline for fundraising key programs
  • At least five years of experience in fundraising, with demonstrated success in engaging with church partners for fundraising in not-for-profit organizations
  • Strong understanding of church movements in Australia and around the world
  • Ideal qualifications from formal Bible college study
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional networking and entrepreneurial ability
  • Business development and relationship management experience
  • Demonstrated ability in key stakeholder engagement
