About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Church Relationship Manager to join our team at World Vision Australia. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships with Australian churches to support our work in empowering children and communities around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to engage with churches and faith-based organizations to raise awareness and funds for our programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with church leaders and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration.
  • Design and deliver presentations, reports, and other materials to communicate the impact and needs of our programs to church audiences.
  • Work closely with our fundraising team to develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns to engage churches and their congregations.
  • Monitor and report on progress against fundraising targets and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in fundraising, relationship management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with churches and faith-based organizations.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian church landscape and the ability to communicate effectively with church leaders and congregations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to design and deliver engaging presentations and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership.
