Propeller Systems Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Propeller Systems Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Propeller Systems Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing on-site maintenance of propeller systems, including repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance.

Your primary goal will be to ensure that all propeller systems are functioning at optimal levels, while also providing technical instruction and assistance to customers within the parameters of formal technical documents.

You will work closely with our team to develop and maintain knowledge of applicable product line and aftermarket contractual obligations, as well as train and oversee apprentices and less experienced team members.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.

About the Role

  • Perform on-site propeller systems maintenance, including repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance.
  • Provide technical instruction and assistance to customers within the parameters of formal technical documents.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of applicable product line and aftermarket contractual obligations.
  • Train and oversee apprentices and less experienced team members.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Mechanical/Avionics or equivalent.
  • A track record of delivering high-level customer service.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Successful experience working in a small team.
  • Knowledge of and experience working in accordance with civil/military regulatory frameworks.
