We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Specialist to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development in the aerospace industry.

As an Aerospace Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) program at Swartz Barracks, Oakey, Queensland. Your tasks will include handling and manoeuvring aircraft on the flight line, re-fuelling as necessary, and providing essential workshop assistance under the mentorship of seasoned professionals.

You will also play a key role in maintaining aircraft hangars and Ground Support Equipment (GSE), assisting tradespeople with site-related tasks, and managing supply duties, including packing and transporting goods.

Safety and health are our top priorities, and you will be expected to champion these standards by following Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.

We are looking for a team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to task management. A willingness to learn and a passion for working in a close-knit team that upholds our positive culture is essential for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to a safe work environment and adherence to EH&S regulations, strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with co-workers, and proven initiative and effective task prioritization under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

The following qualifications are required:

  • C class driver's license
  • Australian Citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 AGSVA clearance
  • Certificate II in Aeroskills or the ability to obtain
