
Aerospace Technician

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Aerospace Maintenance Specialist.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the Royal Australian Air Force's (RAAF) 36 Squadron C-17A Globemasters, ensuring essential upkeep and services for all eight aircraft.
As part of our team, you will work towards the common goal of supporting the management of services, integration of systems, and ensuring the engineering and maintenance needs of the fleet are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage maintenance, repairs, and calibration of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment and Test & Support Equipment (GSE, S&TE).
- Perform electrical integrity testing (Test & Tag) on equipment and maintain up-to-date registers.
- Inspect and test torque wrenches, lifting equipment, and working at heights equipment.
- Manage hazardous waste in compliance with policies.
- Handle tool store consumables, including reordering and restocking.
- Complete daily tasks using electronic tasking systems.
- Be physically fit and able to work autonomously in a small team.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understand Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
- Meet security requirements of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITARS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Have knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
- Hold a C class driver's license.
