Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a conduit between on-site Residential Aged Care Managers and Corporate Head Office functions.
  • Drive achievement of all Facility compliance standards, including Accreditation, WHS, and Hospitality Standards.
  • Support Residential Aged Care Managers with management of financial KPIs, commercial reporting, and workforce requirements.
  • Support Residential Aged Care Managers to manage financial results within non-wage costs.
  • Lead and support with SIRS reporting and investigations.
  • Implement and monitor non-clinical initiatives and standards.
  • Support teams through change management processes.
  • Collaborate with all levels of care home staff through complex processes.
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support Residential Aged Care Managers to resolve resident, family, and consumer feedback.
  • Represent the region at quarterly state WHS Meetings.
  • Support the Regional Manager with key operational role recruitment.
  • Lead projects and support sites throughout the region.
  • Support homes with COVID/Outbreak response.
  • Provide on-call support to Home leaders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in leading and driving successful change implementation across aged care.
  • Proven track record in successfully driving and achieving aged care accreditation standards across multiple sites.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with a proven ability to lead change and improvement in an environment of ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and possesses a consistent customer-first approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic operational plans and strong track record of driving change and compliance.
  • Exceptional team building skills, including the demonstrated capability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of funding, health/aged care national policy, and regulation that affects growth.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of quantitative data and qualitative data, highly developed analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Keen passion for promoting positive resident outcomes.
