About the RoleWe're seeking a collaborative and engaging Regional IT Infrastructure Lead to manage the Infrastructure lifecycle in the Australia and New Zealand region, in collaboration with the Global Infrastructure Team and our managed service provider.
In this exciting role, you'll have input in the Infrastructure demand evaluation and prioritization process, as well as leading the delivery of Infrastructure projects alongside the Program delivery manager.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the IT infrastructure lifecycle in the ANZ region and advise the IT Leadership team.
- Be responsible for day-to-day monitoring of regional IT Infrastructure support, hardware & licenses expenses, and reporting any variances against budget.
- Review and evaluate new infrastructure demand and support the demand prioritization process.
- Be the technical expert and provide solution advice on business requirements, current system landscape, integrations, and performance metrics, and offer recommendations on both hardware and software.
- Provide expert guidance and support to the infrastructure support team, including the management of major incidents and escalations related to infrastructure operations.
- Act as a high-level escalation point for infrastructure services & projects which are not in scope of the managed service provider.
- Evaluate the potential of new products to enhance or supersede existing IT infrastructure in collaboration with the architecture team.
- Be key support to the architecture team with infrastructure architecture or system designs reviews to ensure consistency with set standards and policies.
- Manage small to medium infrastructure projects from ideation to execution, including solution design, hands-on implementation work, and/or the management of related project resources.
- Provide support to non-IT led projects which require IT infrastructure input & support.
- Lead regional 3rd party relationships with vendors of Infrastructure services.
You're a degree-qualified IT Infrastructure professional with extensive demonstrated experience in infrastructure design and implementation within a matrix corporate environment.
You'll have a successful track record in delivering regional IT projects, including implementing and managing secure hybrid infrastructure (on-premise and cloud) built on AWS, OCI, and VMware technologies.
You'll have extensive knowledge of infrastructure provisioning, networking, security, and configuration management, as well as experience with OT systems and technologies within a manufacturing environment.
You're a natural communicator with the ability to build and manage effective stakeholder relationships.
In addition, you'll pride yourself on your ability to be hands-on with a strong analysis and problem-solving mindset when developing & supporting technical solutions.
You'll bring the discipline of developing documentation that communicates the solutions, decisions, and procedures for future reference and compliance.
