Our Grounds & Open Spaces division is a leading provider of commercial grounds and turf maintenance services, including mowing, horticulture, landscaping, and irrigation design and installation. We partner with high-profile clients across the private and public sectors to deliver exceptional grounds management solutions.
About the OpportunityWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Regional Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of contracts across the north-west of Victoria. This role will ensure the successful and safe delivery of operations by effectively managing assets, personnel, and scheduling, while driving new business development to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
This permanent full-time position is based in Sunshine West, VIC, offering the chance to apply management and leadership skills while driving operational excellence and growth. Key responsibilities include overseeing the north-west Victorian region of Grounds & Open Spaces business, ensuring staff are trained to safely and efficiently use equipment and resources, and supporting business growth through customer management and cross-selling activities.

- Ensure staff are trained to safely and efficiently use equipment and resources.
- Support business growth through customer management and cross-selling activities.
- Review and approve estimates to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
- Manage compliance and safety standards across all operations.
- Profit & loss budget management.
- Deliver exceptional client service by regularly visiting sites, addressing any issues, and ensuring projects are completed to client expectations.
To excel in this role, you will have a proven background in the grounds management industry (gardening/horticulture, turf, landscaping, irrigation, etc.) coupled with strong management skills. Your ability to manage people, assets, and operational schedules will be key to your success. A passion for business development and customer satisfaction is essential. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Tertiary qualification is advantageous but not essential; relevant experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated management experience including P&L responsibility.
- Highly developed communication and strong stakeholder engagement ability.
- Strong asset management and compliance experience.
- A proactive approach to business development and client relationships.
