Defence Systems Engineer

The role involves contributing to the development of complex combat systems, working collaboratively with experienced professionals to deliver advanced capabilities to the navy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in systems engineering activities such as requirements management, system architecture, and systems integration
  • Work on complex defence industry engineering programmes, preferably within an ASDEFCON context
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, including customers, and ensure effective communication
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in a related engineering discipline (e.g. computer science, electrical/electronic)
  • At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably within the defence industry
  • Strong writing, verbal, and listening skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other tools such as DOORS
