Australian Defence Sector Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our team in the Australian Defence sector. As a key member of the Communications Delivery Team, you will be responsible for assisting clients in sourcing candidates for both permanent and contract roles.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain the Engineering framework, including production and maintenance of engineering, verification and Technical Certification Plans.
- Contribute to project scopes of work and perform complex tasks associated with program development, including developing strategies and evaluating product outputs addressing reporting, stakeholder liaison, configuration management, security accreditation, system reviews, change management, and other engineering governance activities as directed.
- Responsible for contributing to the engineering team and proactively identifying, managing, and mitigating risk.
- Act as a representative during system testing activities conducted by contractors, when required.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry experience of more than 8 years, and ability to obtain and hold a Defence Technical Authority Level (of at least Level 4).
- NV1 cleared with the ability to upgrade to NV2.
- Experience with the Land Technical Regulatory Framework and the Land System Safety Manual.
- Experience with verification programs, including Acceptance Test and Evaluation (AT&E).
- Experience in producing System Safety cases.
- Experience with the BTN and TCN, including TCN Waveforms.
- Knowledge of Systematic Sitaware Battle Management System (BMS) Products;
- Knowledge of security principles for deployable communications networks.
- Defence and/or CASG experience,
- One Defence capability planning principles and program gate review processes; and
- Previous experience with Army Acquisition Projects.
