We are seeking a skilled nursing leader to join our team as a Director of Nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational and professional leadership, management, and delivery of nursing services within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
Main Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide high-level advice to the executive team and lead the ongoing design, planning, development, implementation, and management of nursing workforce strategies.
- Nursing Standards: Deliver high-quality, evidence-informed nursing standards within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service at an expert professional and leadership level.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
- A Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Significant experience in nursing leadership and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and teams.
