Laboratory Technician in Automated Biochemistry

We are seeking a skilled laboratory technician to perform manual and automated diagnostic testing, specimen storage and retrieval, equipment maintenance and operation, record-keeping, stock control, and confidentiality management.

About the Role
  • Diagnostic testing using various instruments and equipment
  • Specimen storage and retrieval with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintenance of equipment for smooth operation
  • Audit-compliant record-keeping of tests and results
  • Support for stock control and inventory management
  • Maintenance of customer information confidentiality
About You
  • Diploma of Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification
  • Prior experience in laboratory work, preferably in diagnostic testing
  • A commitment to adhering to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
  • Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety and quality assurance processes and procedures

The ideal candidate will be a cohesive team player with positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
