Director of Property Law

The Senior Legal Counsel will play a critical role in supporting the company's in-house legal team. They will work closely with the General Counsel and be supported by the Legal Counsel, while also gaining exposure to the wider business.
The position involves providing legal advice and support on various property-related matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, finance, construction, and development projects. The successful candidate will draft, review, and negotiate property and commercial contracts and agreements.
- Due diligence on property transactions
- Staying updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the property and construction industries
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks
- Assisting in the management and resolution of legal disputes and litigation related to property, construction, and commercial issues
To succeed in this role, candidates are expected to have between 5 to 8 years of post-admission experience in property law, with some exposure to construction law from either private practice or in-house.
