Job Opportunity: Property Law Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Sydney office. As a key member of our Real Estate Group, you will play a vital role in supporting our lawyers across a wide range of property matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the property team with end-to-end file management, from initial instructions through to post-settlement matters.
  • Prepare and draft correspondence, contracts for sale of land, settlement figures, and other legal documentation.
  • Manage and maintain client files and correspondence throughout the conveyancing process including accurate data entry and document organisation.
  • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders, solicitors, and brokers to coordinate smooth transactions.
  • Utilize PEXA to manage workflow, input data, and facilitate electronic settlements and lodgments.
  • Undertake and review property searches, land title checks and other relevant documentation for due diligence purposes.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a legal assistant/office administration role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing tasks with confidence.
  • A proactive mindset, willingness to learn and strong sense of accountability.
  • Calm under pressure and quick to adapt when things change unexpectedly.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong telephone manner to build positive and engaging relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A desire to contribute to a workplace that values support, collaboration, and continuous growth.
