Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is committed to shaping the future of education by delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality learning environments. We seek an experienced Senior Development Manager to lead critical school infrastructure projects.

This pivotal role requires overseeing project planning, stakeholder engagement, and execution, driving transformative outcomes for communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design development and management, construction and infrastructure, team management, and a passion for making a lasting impact in Catholic education.

The Senior Development Manager Delivery is accountable for collaborating with stakeholders to oversee capital works project life cycles. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Management: Managing and delivering high-profile projects and leading a cross-portfolio team to assist the development and delivery of Major Works programs through providing financial, reporting, quality assurance, and procurement services.
  • Program Delivery: Ensuring major works programs meet the organisation's performance requirements for educational facilities and deliver a program of work that meets the organisation's objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Leading, engaging, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and government authorities to ensure the effective planning, implementation, and delivery of end-to-end capital works programs.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring compliance, legislative, and safety requirements are met in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures, identifying and managing risks and dependencies affecting project outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring team members to ensure staff have the knowledge, skills, and support to achieve objectives, fostering ongoing professional development, and ensuring best practice and continuous improvement.

Competitive Remuneration Package: This role offers a competitive salary between $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including up to 25% off school fees for children enrolled in our schools.
