Senior Water Resource Specialist

We are seeking an experienced water resource professional to lead the delivery of complex projects and foster strong relationships with clients.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic consultant to work in integrated water management across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on key stakeholders.
  • Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines, ensuring efficient delivery.
  • Identify new business opportunities and prepare proposals and presentations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental or Civil Engineering (or related field) with relevant experience in water resources.
  • Strong technical foundation in hydrology, catchment modelling, and software such as TUFLOW FV/Source, TUFLOW Catch, MUSIC, MIKE.
  • Proven project management experience, including planning, budgeting, and execution of water management projects.
  • Knowledge of integrated water management principles, practices, and limitations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
  • A strategic mindset and strong ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
