Defence Project Lead Role

A dedicated and result-driven Defence Engineering Programme Manager is required to spearhead complex defence projects within a global Aerospace technology company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster the growth and development of team members through effective leadership and mentoring.
  • Apply engineering expertise to deliver timely project outcomes by leveraging innovative solutions and efficient resource allocation.
  • Regularly review capabilities, performance, capacity, process, and system requirements against current and future needs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and champion the development of new engineering practices, plans, techniques, and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success and maintain strong relationships.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science degree or relevant applicable degree.
  • Prior technical leadership of engineering projects involving product development across the broad spectrum of complex systems.
  • Proven ability and experience representing the company as a technical expert, communicating complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences.

Desirable Skills: Experience and knowledge of command, control, and communications systems in a Defence environment. Proven track record of successful systems engineering with expertise spanning the entire systems development lifecycle.
