Defence Engineering Programme Manager
Job Description:
A highly motivated and results-driven Defence Engineering Programme Manager is required to lead complex defence projects within a global Aerospace technology company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end engineering strategies, programme development, and system integration in highly regulated environments.
This key role requires strong leadership, innovation, and stakeholder management skills to deliver mission-critical solutions that support national defence.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Model behaviours to grow and develop team members.
Subject Matter Expert: Apply engineering expertise to deliver timely project outcomes.
Resource Management: Regularly review capabilities, performance, capacity, process, and system requirements against current and future needs.
Innovation: Lead and champion the development of new engineering practices, plans, techniques, and technologies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science degree or relevant applicable degree.
Prior technical leadership of engineering projects involving product development across the broad spectrum of complex systems.
Proven ability and experience representing the company as a technical expert.
Desirable Skills:
Experience and knowledge of command, control and communications systems in a Defence environment.
Experience involving tactical data links.
Experienced systems engineer with proven background involving the entirety of systems development processes.
