Portfolio Engineering Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced engineering professional to fill the role of Portfolio Engineering Manager.

This position will involve providing technical leadership and management to a team of engineers, overseeing the execution of multiple design development projects for defence systems.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Ensure consistent planning and reporting across all projects.
  • Identify scope conflicts and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • 10+ years' experience in the Australian Defence Industry.
  • Management of multi-disciplinary design development programs.
  • Leadership of multi-disciplinary design development teams.
  • Work within an accredited Quality Management System environment.
  • NV1 Security Clearance.

Desired qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc.) and Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or RPEQ, INCOSE CSEP, or Defence engineering accreditations.
