Job Title: Physiotherapist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation.

About the Role: As a Physiotherapist, you will provide visiting services to our clinics and communities, delivering individual and group physiotherapy services to clients and their families across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for clients.
  • Implement evidence-based practices and promote health and wellness within the community.
  • Work with a diverse range of clients, including those with developmental needs, chronic diseases, musculoskeletal issues, and post-operative rehabilitation needs.
  • Conduct regular travel to remote clinic sites in Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation service delivery areas.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to other health professionals within the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications as a Physiotherapist and registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in physiotherapy.
  • Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and communities.
  • Good interpersonal skills, effective listening, and communication skills.

Relocation Assistance: NT PHN/RWA NT may offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification.
