Physiotherapist Opportunity in Katherine

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our team at Katherine. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your career in various therapy areas, including musculoskeletal physiotherapy, rehabilitation, paediatrics, women's health, hydrotherapy and Pilates, hand therapy and splinting, acupuncture and dry needling, community-based therapy, aged care and NDIS.
The ideal candidate will have registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (AHPRA), be able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrate commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing learning and professional development, possess motivated, punctual and strong communication skills, and have a love and passion for physiotherapy.
- Salary Range: $45-$65 per hour, based on experience

- Relocation Support: Up to $7,000 available
- Scholarship and Bursary Grants: Generous support available
We are a community-based practice that educates patients on their condition and empowers them with tools to assist self-management. We offer a unique demographic and an interesting and varied caseload.
About the Role- Reliably assess, diagnose and safely deliver physiotherapy services across a wide range of clinical areas and health conditions
- Design, prescribe and supervise exercise-based rehabilitation
- Assess efficiency of treatment plans, modify and refer accordingly
- Practice duty of care, including meeting clinic standards and accountability
Katherine is situated 320 kilometres south-east of Darwin and offers nature-based recreation activities and adventures. Residents enjoy camping, fishing, canoeing, bush-walking, hunting, swimming and exploring the magnificent Katherine region.
