Job Overview

BDM / Sales Engineer - Civil Infrastructure

This is a full-time role located in the Greater Melbourne Area, with interstate travel required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and provide technical expertise to support sales focusing on Civil Infrastructure projects and stakeholders.
  • Consult with clients to understand their specific needs, prepare and deliver product presentations, and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the best solutions are provided.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Significant experience in Business Development or Sales Engineering within the construction industry.
  • Technical knowledge in construction products is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in using CRM software and project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
  • Experience in the construction or mining industry is a plus.
