BDM / Sales Engineer - Civil Infrastructure
This is a full-time role located in the Greater Melbourne Area, with interstate travel required.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and provide technical expertise to support sales focusing on Civil Infrastructure projects and stakeholders.
- Consult with clients to understand their specific needs, prepare and deliver product presentations, and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the best solutions are provided.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales support.
- Significant experience in Business Development or Sales Engineering within the construction industry.
- Technical knowledge in construction products is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and consultative selling skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in using CRM software and project management tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
- Experience in the construction or mining industry is a plus.
