Cemetery Maintenance Team Leader

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced team leader to lead our cemetery maintenance team in Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.

  • Lead a high-performing team of cemetery maintenance professionals
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently to maintain cemeteries to a high standard
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are well-manicured and meet our standards
  • Complete service requests as required, adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in lawn maintenance, with cemetery experience highly regarded
  • A valid manual driver's license
  • A white card
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, from hot summer days to cooler winter months
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to high standards
