About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Cemetery Maintenance Worker. As part of this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing council-controlled cemeteries within Brisbane.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.
- Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
- Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
- Complete service requests as required
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Previous experience in Lawn Maintenance (Cemetery experience highly regarded)
- Valid Manual Drivers Licence
- White Card
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
- Be punctual and reliable
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
