Cemetery Maintenance Team Lead Position

Green by Nature is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Cemetery Maintenance Team Lead.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in lawn maintenance, particularly in cemeteries. As a Cemetery Maintenance Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team to maintain and enhance council-controlled cemeteries within Brisbane.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to maintain and enhance council-controlled cemeteries
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Complete service requests as required
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in lawn maintenance, preferably in cemeteries
  • A valid manual driver's license
  • A white card
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • The willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
