Site Operations Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the excavation, handling, and disposal of spoil on site. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, on-site management skills, and a strong commitment to safety and environmental regulation.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications, applicable legislation, approvals, standards, and Risk Management process
- Input information and undertake minor design on site and monitor and recommend changes to design details to increase the ease of construction
- Exercise professional judgement in resolving engineering issues, i.e. construction methods, design, engineering procedures, etc.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (i.e. Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering)
- Proven experience in construction site operations, preferably roads, tunnels or bridges; with specific experience in spoil management being highly desirable
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and waste management practices
- Delivered on major civil infrastructure projects or similar
- Advanced commercial acumen including cost reduction and meeting budgets
- Understanding of HSEQ management systems, compliance and reporting procedures
- High level of computer literacy
