Job Title: Construction Site Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Site Operations Manager to oversee the effective, efficient, and successful execution of construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations are carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistics Planning: Develop and implement site logistic plans, including site amenities, housing, entry/exit traffic management, cranage, hoisting, security, and waste management.
  • Subcontractor Management: Ensure subcontractors complete their work in accordance with the scope of work and programme provided by the Project Manager.
  • Risk Assessment: Obtain and review SWMS from subcontractors before they commence on site.
  • Quality Control: Perform regular inspections on subcontractors' work, ensuring it conforms to specifications, drawings, and QA check sheets.
  • Project Understanding: Establish and maintain a total understanding of requirements for all drawings and specifications, including specialist trade contractor/supplier shop drawings.
  • QA Implementation: Implement and monitor QA plans during project duration, working closely with the Project Coordinator.
  • Project Support: Assist in overall project management by reviewing construction methods and site performance, coordinating trade contractors against planned activities and programmes.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years' experience managing commercial type projects.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications with broad knowledge of industry and processes.
  • Skillset: Ability to identify risks and opportunities, as well as human and technical resource needs for each project.
