Job Summary

The Facilities Manager position offers a key leadership role focused on delivering exceptional service, driving contract performance, and overseeing facilities across multiple sites.

This role entails leading onsite operations at a major client campus, managing daily facilities operations for a key Government client, delivering services in line with KPIs, client expectations, and compliance standards, overseeing financial aspects including budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing, and building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day facilities operations for a key Government client
  • Deliver services according to set KPIs, client requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Oversee financial management of contracts, including budget creation, forecasting, and invoicing
  • Lead a team of staff and subcontractors promoting a strong safety and performance culture
  • Nurture relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best-value outcomes
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in team leadership and staff management
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills
  • Trade qualification (Mechanical/Electrical) + post-trade certification or diploma - preferred but not essential
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost control
  • Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office
  • Australian citizenship and NV1 Security Clearance required
