**Executive Director Aged Care**

Job Description

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our aged care services, ensuring safe and high-quality person-centred care for all older people. The Executive Director will participate in the South West Local Health Service Network across key initiatives in aged care, providing strategic direction and upholding compliance with aged care legislation.

  • Oversee a total workforce of approximately 160 staff members, managing resources effectively and leading teams through complex change.
  • Lead the strategic direction and governance of clinical and care standards, compliance, and accreditation.
  • Engage stakeholders and the community, including advocacy for consumer-centred care and resident rights.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Executive leadership experience in aged care, health, or human services with demonstrated ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong operational and financial management acumen, ensuring efficient service delivery and achievement of financial targets while maintaining high-quality care.
  • Proven experience managing resources effectively and leading teams through complex change in alignment with Aged Care reforms.
  • Qualifications as a Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, the Aged Care Act and contemporary aged care service delivery models.
