Job Opportunity

This is a senior role in the market access team, responsible for leading reimbursement expansion and value-based access programs in Australia and New Zealand.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and executing strategic market access strategies, as well as designing and delivering strategic value communications for payers and healthcare professionals.
  • They will also have a strong track record of working in the Australian and New Zealand market access field, with significant experience in working with payer bodies resulting in successful reimbursement outcomes.
About the Role

In this role, you will be an integral part of the APAC market access team and participate in APAC-wide strategy development and execution. You will work closely with regional access teams to establish appropriate evidence needs and construct strategies for optimizing reimbursement and product positioning.

You will also be responsible for establishing, fostering and leading interactions between Dexcom and government entities while developing programs and activities to support this work.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading HTA/guideline submissions, value-based funding programs, involvement in policy development, payer engagement, sitting on local and regional industry bodies, etc.
  • Collaborating with Health Economics and Outcomes Research, and Integrated Evidence Planning teams to support the delivery of Market Access, Policy and Advocacy objectives.
Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate must have education and experience in a relevant field, e.g. HTA, Health Policy, Value Based Access programs, Health Economics and Tendering. They should also have knowledge of market access for pharmaceutical or medical devices, experience in the diabetes field would be highly preferred.
